Hello, I’m Erica—a doula with one year of birth work experience and a strong medical background. I spent four years as a medical assistant in an OB/GYN clinic and currently work as a pediatric LPN while completing my RN degree. My approach to birth work is calm, compassionate, and evidence-based. I believe every family deserves to feel informed, supported, and empowered as they welcome their baby into the world. What’s included in a free discovery call?
A 20–30 minute video or phone call to learn about your preferences, answer questions, discuss availability and next steps. There’s no obligation to book — it’s just a chance to see whether we're a good fit.
Do you attend both medicated and unmedicated births?
Yes. I support all birth choices — unmedicated, epidural, induction, VBAC, and planned cesarean. My job is to advocate for your preferences, help you prepare, and support your decisions during labour.
How many prenatal and postpartum visits are included?
Typical packages include 2–3 prenatal visits to create your birth plan and 1–2 postpartum visits (often within the first 2 weeks). Custom packages with additional visits or newborn support are available.
What if my birth goes beyond my due date or happens quickly?
Call/text me when you feel labour beginning. I include on-call coverage around your due date as agreed in the contract. If birth happens quickly I will respond as fast as possible; in rare cases I will coordinate backup doulas if needed.
